Rip Curl's G-Bomb 2.0 range offers a comfortable way to stay warm and protected in the surf. The 1mm neoprene means this wetsuit is suited for use in a fairly wide range of conditions. In warm waters (e.g. a Queensland summer, water temps exceeding 25°C) you won't overheat and it's a secure-fitting alternative for sun protection from rashies. You'd also still be comfortable in parts of the spring & autumn seasons.
The real aim of the G-Bomb spring suit range shouldn't be considered warmth. Although it offers thermal properties to some degree, features like this wetsuits E-Stitch unsealed seams are really targeting flexibility and comfort. The result of thin, flexible neoprene paired with stretchy seams is easy paddling and comfort. While 1mm of neoprene isn't much, it's still perfect for protecting you against board rash and substantially more effective than a traditional rashie in our experience.
