"This design spawned from a constellation of influences, from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel to a certain mobile phone company’s recent rebranding.
But of course, the primary source of inspiration for this design came 37 years ago, on a scorching afternoon at Estadio Azteca, where a certain magician conjured up two goals that defied logic.
On its anniversary, it is that fateful first that we decided to showcase in 1-bit glory, as we long for simpler times. Times when VAR didn’t exist, SNAKE took up most of our screen time, and the Cosmic Kite was still conjuring miracles on pitches around the world."
